Wilkins were established in 1908, this tin dates back to circa 1920 and is in great condition. Red Boy toffee was an instant hit and featured a detail from Thomas Lawrence's famous painting, Charles William Lambton later known as 'Red Boy'. The lid is original to the tin and fits perfectly, often with vintage tins you struggle to remove the lid, this comes off as you'd want it to. The bottom is sound with no rusting. The original colour still pops and the graphics are in good condition.
Will look fantastic in any kitchen as a snack tin or to complement an advertising collection.
